What I..

                                                                WHAT I EAT IN DAY...

This is one of my go-tos—a Greek yogurt bowl loaded with mango, raspberries, blueberries, granola, honey, and a little peanut butter. It’s quick, fresh, and always hits the spot.

This salad from Strong Hearts features spinach, strawberries, almonds, lemon, and savory vegan bacon bits. So bomb! Such a light fresh lunch to keep me full and ready for my afternoon classes at the stage!

In the afternoon, my friends and I went to Starbucks, and I got a latte. It was so fun, and we               actually got a lot of work done. Starbucks has been annoying me lately, though, with all the                                                                              pistachio stuff.

For Dinner, I had a staple. Chipotle bowl with rice, steak, pico, corn, guac, cheese and extra lettuce, as well as chips on the side. This meal hits so hard after a long day!

After a long day of eating GOOD, My old roommate and I got Frozen Yogurt. I am the type to just put every candy I like in my cup and pray it is not 10$

Reflection - Nowadays, there are so many apps where appearance is a top priority. Whether it’s taking selfies on Snapchat, posting outfit-of-the-day videos on TikTok, sharing selfies on Pinterest, or even using dating apps. I want to discuss where the foundation of taking selfies came from: Instagram. I got Instagram in 2016 and basically never stopped being active on it. This can be said about a good 80% of my generation.

I do believe that the “Instagram selfie” is the most iconic and popular among the selfie world of apps. It’s where the real "selfie" was invented and made important. It’s interesting to see how over the years, different social media platforms have competed with each other. Instagram had huge competition with Snapchat until Instagram basically became Snapchat as well, with new features that allow users to send and edit selfies in the same way.

Nonetheless, Instagram is the platform for selfies. I’ve always loved expressing myself through Instagram, whether that’s taking cool pictures or sharing my outfits with the world. I do feel like social media as a whole is starting to die out though. People are looking for something new—I’m just not quite sure what it is.
